    Steps to Reproduce the Problem:
    1. Right in console sv_showimpacts 1
    2. Aim at neck facing the model from front
    3. fire
    4. NOticed that the chest hitbox gets hit in most angles and block the bullet from hitting the actual neck.

    Expected or Desired Behavior:

    THe neck hitbox should be exposed when facing the model front to allow the players to hit the neck hitbox when aiming.

    The chest should not block the bullet.

    Additional Relevant Information that could be helpful to address this issue:

    From some angles the bullet does hit the neck but most of times it doesnt.

    Could you please post some screen shots showing when shooting the neck it registers in the chest. The current screen shots are good but they don’t exactly show that the chest is the that shows the impact. I am a supporter of this, after playing Source I am upset still that with CT’s holding M4′s that the arm would register the headshot instead due to how they hold their guns compared to the T’s holding them at the hip.

    Update 5/1/2013:
    -Implemented bodygroups penetration for maximum damage, now shooting through arms at the enemies head will apply headshot damage, or shooting through arms at the stomach will apply stomach damage multiplier.

    Therefore neck hitbox is somewhat exposed now :)

    I disagree with this ticket, becausegame already are enough advantages to reward players for aiming at neck. Ineed game should encourage accuracy, but at same time it’s important to keep versatility with purpose to encourage players to develop their own shooting styles.
    If neck is vulnerable then it means that it becomes the best place to aim, hence aiming anywhere else becomes into a wrong method. Players should have a freedom to develop their own playing styles, techniques and skills in order to keep the game interesting.
    Like I said, there already are enough advantages by aiming at neck area, therefore there is no need to make another advantage to establish it into the absolute best place to aim.

    About tapping, in my opinion the real reason why tapping isn’t so rewarding in CSGO is because a head hitbox is large enough to allow it to be hit by spraying.

    The reason why in Cs 1.6 many skilled players uses tapping style is because spraying in many situations isn’t reliable enough to ensure hitting head hitbox.
    However in CSGO head hitbox larger, which noticeably increases chance to hit head hitbox by spraying, therefore there is less advantage to tapping in this game.
